Metropolitan Fotios of Demetrias

Holy Cross is a quasi-monastic community directly under the spiritual guidance and protection of Metropolitan Fotios of Demetrias, an Athonite of Esfigmenou monastery. Our Father Metropolitan Fotios is a member of the Holy Synod of the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece.

Iero-monk Theophilos

Iero-monk Theophilos was born in Kefalonia, Greece and arrived in Australia in April of 2018, serving and caring for churches and communities as determined by Metropolitan Fotios of Demetria who is the ruling Bishop for the churches in Australia.

Iero-monk Theophilos was tonsured as monastic, Deacon and Priest in the Monastery of the All-Holy Theotokos, by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Attica and Biotia in February 2010. He also served as Parish priest of St John the Forerunner 2010-2018, serving also in other Monasteries and Parishes.

Iero-monk Theophilos was born in Kefalonia, Greece and arrived in Australia in April of 2018, serving and caring for churches and communities as determined by Metropolitan Photios of Demetria who is the ruling Bishop for the churches in Australia.

Iero-monk Theophilos was tonsured as monastic, Deacon and Priest in the Monastery of the All-Holy Theotokos, by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Attica and Biotia in February 2010. He also served as Parish priest of St John the Forerunner 2010-2018,
serving also in other Monasteries and Parishes.

Father Spyridon was tonsured at Holy Cross, as Reader, ordained SubDeacon, Deacon and priest, by our Father Metropolitan Fotios, 2024.

SubDeacon Alan

Was tonsured Reader in 2006, and ordained SubDeacon at Holy Cross in 2007.
